Tru-Line Autobody Frame & Wheel Ltd. is proud to be an ICBC c.a.r. shop “Valet” facility. What this means for you, the customer, is that in the unfortunate event of an accident, all you need to do is phone ICBC to report your claim. If ICBC qualifies your claim as an express repair, just phone or email us for an appointment with the claim number, and we’ll take over from there.
With our Valet Service, we will gladly pick up your damaged vehicle from home or work and drop it off when the repairs are completed.*
Our courtesy cars are safe and economical to drive and are available with most body and paint repairs and insurance claims. Just let us know if you require one when you make an appointment with us.
Collision repair technology has changed significantly in the last 30 years. It’s not uncommon these days to hear words such as “AHSS”, “HSLA”, or “TWIP”, to name a few, when describing the type of metals used in today’s modern vehicles. Our technicians take upgrade training yearly to keep them updated with these new, advanced technologies. All our collision repairs, whether they are an ICBC or private repair, are guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle*. Our goal is to bring your vehicle back to pre-accident condition or better when the repairs are completed. Read More.
The refinishing process is basically a two-step procedure. First, the colour coat is applied. At Tru-Line, we use electronic colour tools such as a spectrophotometer to aid us in matching the colour of your vehicle. Second, the clear coat is applied. Our clear coat is a urethane specifically formulated for automotive use to give your vehicle a durable, deep rich gloss and to protect the surface from elements such as acidic rain and ultraviolet rays of today’s environment. Our refinishing process is guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle*.
After a collision, your vehicle may have sustained structural damage. Whether your vehicle is of a full frame or unibody design, it is important that the structure be repaired properly. At Tru-Line, our frame and unibody repairs are done on our rack system that can handle everything from a Mini Cooper up to a 1 ton truck. Together with our simultaneous 3 dimensional measuring system, our 4-point anchoring system, our vehicle dimensional data and the knowledge of our technicians, we can make sure that your vehicle’s structural damage is repaired properly.
Steering and suspension parts, whether damaged from wear and tear or from a collision, may present problems such as difficulty in controlling the vehicle while driving and uneven tire wear. At times these damaged parts are not easy to detect by a repair shop. The ability of being able to properly diagnose and pinpoint the damaged part or parts is essential to repairing the vehicle properly and in the most cost effective method. At Tru-Line, we have staff that are specialized in steering and suspension systems. With this specialized knowledge, we have the ability to give you an accurate and honest estimate.
At Tru-Line, we believe that a wheel alignment should be part of a vehicle’s regular maintenance schedule. We recommend checking the wheel alignment once a year. Properly aligned vehicles handle well, maximize tire life and reduce fuel consumption. When you bring in your vehicle for a wheel alignment at Tru-Line, we will inspect items such as proper ride height and correct tire inflation. Correct inflation will also maximize tire life and reduce fuel consumption. We will also inspect the steering and suspension system for worn, bent or broken parts. If we find any problems, we will inform you of them, explain to you how your vehicle may be affected, and the potential consequences of not repairing the problem. We will also give you a written estimate.
Your braking system is one of the most important systems of your vehicle. No point making the car go if you can’t make it stop. If you’re experiencing a braking problem with your vehicle, whether it’s a mushy pedal, weak brakes, grinding sounds or just an uneasy feeling, bring in your vehicle and have it looked at. Our Tru-Line technicians will visually inspect your front and rear brakes at no charge. We will then give you a honest written estimate if parts need to be changed. We use quality brake parts in our repairs and test drive your vehicle once the repairs are completed to make sure everything is working properly and that your vehicle is safe and sound!
